As we use cookies on our Site for different purposes, this policy explains what cookies are and how they are used on the Site. The information on cookies is also provided pursuant to art. 122 of Legislative Decree no. n. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code) and art. 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereafter, the “Regulation“) to explain how and for what purposes we process your personal data, which may be obtained through the use of cookies on our Site.
This Cookie Policy is provided in addition to the Site’s Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to read.
Some cookies (so-called own or first party cookies) are carried and controlled directly by us. Using these cookies, the Company transmits and processes certain personal data regarding you.
Other cookies (so-called third-party cookies), are, however, transmitted and controlled by third parties. In this policy you will find links to the policies published by these third parties, which we encourage you to read carefully.
Please read this policy carefully, as well as the Site’s general Privacy Policy, so that you can make informed choices.
A. What are cookies and what are they used for
Cookies are small text files that are sent by the sites visited by the user directly to her/her terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then transmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits (so-called own first-party cookies). During navigation of a site, the user may also receive cookies on his/her terminal from different sites or web servers (so-called third-party cookies); this happens because the website visited may feature elements such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, or specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. In other words, these cookies are placed by a website other than the one you are currently visiting.
Cookies may be limited in duration to a single browsing session on the browser (so-called session cookies), in which case they are automatically deactivated when the user closes the browser. Alternatively, they can have a pre-determined expiry date and, in this case, they will remain stored and active on your hard disk until the expiry date, continuing to collect information during different browsing sessions on the browser (so-called permanent cookies).
Cookies are used for different functions. Some of them are necessary in order to allow you to navigate the Site and to use its functionalities (c.d. technical cookies). Others are used to obtain statistical information, in aggregate or non-aggregate form, on the number of users accessing the Site and on how the Site is used (c.d. tracking or analytics cookies). Finally, others are used to draw up a profile of you as a consumer and to display advertisements on the Site that may be of interest to you, as they are consistent with your tastes and your consumption habits (so-called profiling cookies).
Only technical cookies, analytics cookies, and profiling cookies are used on the Site.
To learn more about these different categories of cookies, please continue reading this policy. Find out how they work and what they are used for, and freely choose whether to consent to their use or not.
B. Technical cookies
Technical cookies are used on the Site for the sole purpose of making it possible for you to navigate the Site and use its functionalities. Some technical cookies are essential to provide you with an optimal browsing experience or to allow you to verify your identity on the site, for example to make a purchase on the Site or to enter your private area (so-called navigation cookies). Navigation cookies are normally session cookies and are therefore automatically deactivated once the browser is closed.
Other technical cookies are useful to allow you to store save of your preferences (for example, the language or country of origin) without having to reset them during subsequent visits (so-called functionality cookies). For this reason, functionality cookies are often permanent cookies, as they remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser, until their expiration date or until you decide to delete them.
The following technical cookies are currently used on the Site:
Cookie Name | Cookie category | Deadline |
---|---|---|
__cfduid | Necessary | 30 days |
CONSENT | Necessary | 6112 days |

As required by current privacy legislation, your prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies. Of course, you are free to block the installation of technical cookies by modifying your browser settings (read paragraph D, n. 1 to find out how to do this). Please note, however, that by blocking the installation of technical cookies, or subsequently deleting them, your ability to access the Site, to use all or part of it, to enable or disable certain functions or to receive certain services may be totally or partially compromised.
C. Tracking or “analytics” cookies
Analytics cookies are used on the Site to collect statistical information, in aggregate or non-aggregate form, on the number of users accessing the Site and how they visit the Site.
The analytics cookies used on this Site are third party cookies, as they are not installed directly by us but by third parties.
The following third-party analytics cookies are installed on the Site without your prior consent because they are less invasive, being anonymised. Third parties cannot access disaggregated analytics data at the IP address level (in other words, by using these cookies, third parties cannot trace your identity):

---|---|---|
_ga | Statistics | 2 years |
_ga_# | Statistics | 2 years |
Other third-party analytics cookies are, on the other hand, installed on the Site only with your prior consent, because they are not anonymised and third parties can access disaggregated analytics data at the level of the IP address.
Should you consent to the installation of cookies in this way, we will keep track of your consent through a technical cookie. In this way, we will prevent you from seeing the cookie banner on your subsequent visits to the Site. Please note that if you were to delete this technical cookie from your browser in the manner set out in paragraph E(1) below, the record of your consent will be lost and the cookie banner will be displayed again on your next visit to the Site.
Of course, you are free to block the installation of analytics cookies at any time, without affecting your ability to visit the Site and enjoy its contents in any way. To find out how to do this, please read the third party cookie policies carefully by following the links in the table above.
